Joining is as easy as …

1. Contact Cubmaster about visiting a den meeting. Meetings are usually held weekly on Mondays at 6:30 pm in Hollymead Elementary as long as school is in session. However, we are an adventurous lot so please confirm with the cubmaster or chair before you come out for a visit. 

2. Complete the Cub Scout Registration after your Pack/Den visit. This registration will cover your National and Council dues (these come to $139). For an extensive breakdown of the fees, please check out this handout. Pack dues are $65 and can be paid here or during a den meeting. 

3. After assigned a Den simply start attending Den meetings. 

That’s it. Now enjoy, get involved and make new friends!

Adult Involvement

All families are expected to volunteer for about one hour a month. Adults are encouraged to help out as Den Leaders, Committee members, various coordinator positions, events, fundraising...there are actually unlimited ways to volunteer. To volunteer, see any adult at the Pack meetings or contact the Cubmaster/Committee Chair. 

What is Cub Scouting

Cub Scouting is fun! No matter what grade you are in, K through fifth, it can be a blast. Do you like to learn by doing? This is just the place. You can learn to tie knots, set up a tent, or shoot a bow and arrow (archery). Have you ever cooked a meal on a campfire? Sent a secret code to a buddy? Built a birdhouse? Hiked? Earn rewards for doing these things in Cub Scouts.
