Welcome to Pack 206, Charlottesville, VA! Our pack is chartered by the Hollymead Elementary Parent Teacher Organization. You can join our Pack or transfer from another Pack at any time during the year.
Packs meeting are usually held on the 3rd Thursday of the month at Hollymead Elementary. However we are an adventurous lot so please confirm with the calendar before you come out for a visit.
Cub Scouting encourages boys from 1st to 5th grade to simply "DO YOUR BEST". A few of the activities we have done this year are:
- Fall Family Camping - Nothing forms family bonds like roughing it!
- Fall Festival - Get lost in a corn maze or as we call it PIONEERING!
- Holiday Dessert Party - YUM!
- Pinewood Derby - Gentlemen Start your Engines!
- Blue and Gold - Practicing proper table manners.

- Family Weekends at Camp Shenandoah
This is by far the easiest camping you will ever do! They provide the
tents, activities, and meals. All you need are your boys (change of
clothes optional). Activities include swimming, row boating or
canoeing, nature, fishing, handicraft, BB guns, archery, sports, t-
shirt tie-dyeing, flag ceremonies and an evening campfire. There are 2 - Success: Family Camp!
Thanks to all who made Family Camp a Success. Thanks to Whitney and
Den 1 for supporting the food logistics. Scouts don't forget you can
earn a patch by finishing 12 of the 15 activities in your Jr. Ranger
Books and turn it in to any Park Ranger. - Camping Rain Delay
Forecast looks like rainy Fri, nice Sat, Sun. So officially we will
start at 7:30 - 9 am on Sat with camp setup. So every one is on their
own for Sat Breakfast. It still looks to be a great weekend. Hopefully
everyone will become a Junior Ranger by Sunday.
Unofficially, if it clears up you are welcome to come out whenever.
- Final Family Camp Update
Please were Class A uniform on Sat. since we will be in public. Also
there is no fishing at loft mountain so you can leave your poles at
home. Please remember to bring any health forms or monies that are
