Welcome to Pack 206, Charlottesville, VA! Our pack is chartered by the Hollymead Elementary Parent Teacher Organization. You can join our Pack or transfer from another Pack at any time during the year.
Packs meeting are usually held on the 3rd Thursday of the month at Hollymead Elementary. However we are an adventurous lot so please confirm with the calendar before you come out for a visit.
Cub Scouting encourages boys from 1st to 5th grade to simply "DO YOUR BEST". A few of the activities we have done this year are:
- Fall Family Camping - Nothing forms family bonds like roughing it!
- Fall Festival - Get lost in a corn maze or as we call it PIONEERING!
- Holiday Dessert Party - YUM!
- Pinewood Derby - Gentlemen Start your Engines!
- Blue and Gold - Practicing proper table manners.
- And lots more to come...Spring family camping, summer camp, pool party

Setup is on Friday, Jan 22 from 5pm - 9pm. Please come and help out if you
can.
Race Day
- Registration starts at 1pm
- Race starts at 2pm on Sat. Jan 23
We are looking for a parent or 2 to help out with the garage area. A place
where folks can "tweak" their car. Please let me know if you can help.
If you are in Den 6 be prepared to sell hot dogs. - Pinewood Derby Help
We need some folks to help with the below positions at the Pinewood. Please
let me know ASAP is you can help.
Lever/Track monitors - Whitney (usually) and 1 other adult
Garage (some one to monitor the dremels, drills, bring some wood, help trim
out overweight cars, make sure no on drills into the tables. etc...) - 2-3 - Re: Fuel Up for the Derby Workshop
Cost for this breakfast is $5 per person.
